The Riviera Tower was a planned landmark skyscraper in Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan. Designed to reach 270 meters in height with a total floor area of 140,000 m², the tower was envisioned as a mixed-use development integrating residential apartments, offices, and commercial facilities. If completed, it would have been one of the tallest buildings in Russia outside Moscow and St. Petersburg, symbolizing Kazan’s rapid economic growth.
The project was initiated by ZAO Suvar Estate, with Arabtec Construction briefly involved as a general contractor. However, the development encountered legal disputes and arbitration proceedings in 2013–2014, which led to its suspension. Despite this, the design and engineering phases contributed valuable technical expertise in high-rise planning and geotechnical engineering.
